Salamandra Film Laboratory provides processing of Kodak films for commercials, music reels and movies.

The Film Laboratory has the following departments: negative and positive film developing section, developing bath preparation section, chemistry control laboratory, negative and positive cutting rooms, film prints departments, sound department, film footage preparation for print and record.

All the departments are equipped with the modern technological machines of famous Film Laboratory producers such as Bell Howell (USA), Lipsner Smith (USA), DEBRI (France), Eastman Kodak (France).

The laboratory services technology used by Salamandra is based on modern film quality requirements.

  • The negative film processing corresponds to ECN2 process. This technology is confirmed by Kodak quality certificate, according to this fact all the developers certified by Kodak as well.

  • Sensitometric control and sensitometric testing are provided by using of automatic control computer system, based on densitometer X-Rite.

  • The LAD system is used for the prints production, which is the effective method for controlling of prints quality. This method provides the continuous maintenance of high quality level of prints. Using of color positive film of Kodak -Vision Premier 2383/2393 provides the high quality prints for the projection.

  • In 2000 year "Salamandra" is going to enter the new sound technology, according to the Dolby system.
  • Kodak Company has trained all the technical stuff of Salamandra Company at Kodak educational center - Shalon Laboratory (France).
